It’s been a week since the end of BarCamp Manchester(#bcmcr). This was certainly one of the best events I have attended. For those of you who have no idea what a BarCamp is, I highly recommend you to attend one.
BarCamp is an unconference conference. It was a two-day overnight event took place between the 18th and 19th October 2014 at SpacePortX, Manchester. Participants were the ones to decide what talks/sessions were available, and which ones to attend. The sessions could be as formal or informal as you like. You don’t need to be a geek or a technical person, the sessions could be about anything, whether it’s about games, programming, or just random non-technical topics; they could be traditional PowerPoint presentations, general discussions, or workshops. You don’t have to deliver a session, you could just be an attendee for the whole event.
